Sorry for the delay in writing. We are back to computer problems and we are trying to resolve them so that Scott can write soon.
Unfortunately, Scott has had another bout of pneumonia; they did not send him to the hospital this time and have been treating it aggressively at the nursing facility. He is showing improvement and has continued to go to therapies even with breathing issues. Until Scott can develop the ability to cough, this continues to be a serious concern.
Scott has tried to remain positive for the most part. He is continuing to hold on to his faith and belief that with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
His therapies are going well and they are continuing to get him to sit up more and work on strengthening his neck. He will tell you lots more as soon as possible. The hardest adjustment for Scott is the fact that he still has not regained any motor function or more sensation, but it will come -WE ALL BELIEVE!
Kristy and Scott are working on getting his phone hooked up so he will be able to make and receive calls; we will let you know when that is accomplished. In the meantime, PLEASE continue to write on the guestbook and post your thoughts for Scott. He so enjoys reading everything you have to say and it keeps him somewhat connected to all his friends.
We are starting to work on some fundraising ideas; we will keep you posted. We need to get a vehicle sooner rather than later. If anyone has ideas to share or wants to host an event , please let us know. We welcome all input.
