Sorry I’m posting so late tonight but today was an incredible day. I told you all that we would try another breathing test later in the day and we did and it’s still going on!!! It’s been hours and Scott is still only on CPAP with100% oxygen saturation. He still feels short of breath but he calms when I remind him that he is retraining some muscles that have been on vacation. He is VERY alert at last and there has been a lot of conversation with him. Granted, he is only mouthing words which is frustrating to him at times because we are all still learning how to read his lips. I have no doubt that within a couple days we’ll all be pro’s:) Needless to say all this communicating is keeping me busy!
My mom, sis, and brother came up and took me to Bob Evans for about the 5th time because I’m still on a soup diet for the most part because my stomach is still a ball of nerves. It’s also good to get out and get some fresh air because I come back a better person for Scott.
I want to thank you all again for ALL your prayers and support. I can not begin to tell you how much it helps me. You all remind me to keep the faith and I know your prayers are the reason Scott is excelling like he is. I wish I had the time to reach out to each and every one of you and tell you how much your messages mean but please know you have all touched my heart and continue to strengthen me and give me courage.
