Today was a busy day for Scott. His morning Xray showed that his right lung was full of fluid. His right upper lobe was collapsed so the Dr had to do a procedure to clean it out and to help Scott breath better. In addition, Scott had his feeding tube placed in is stomach. Scott pulled through both procedures well. They tell us they pulled quite a lot of fluid from his lung and what appeared to be a small piece of seaweed.
He was given a lot of medication to sedate him so he hasn’t done a whole lot of communication with me or the family. He’s very drowsy which is for the best as his body needs time to rest and heal. Thank you for the prayers. We desperately need them.
The agenda for tomorrow is to get his morning Xray and hope for signs that todays procedure aided in clearing out his lung.
