Well, I know everyone has been anxiously awaiting all my colorful stories about the wonders of rehab but unfortunately we were delayed a day. This has nothing to do with Scotts health but rather a delay in one of the physicians giving his approval in time. Sort of a bummer but not a big deal! Scott appreciated one more day of snoozing anyway.

Scott was still really anxious, panic stricken, and claustrophobic at times through out the day. I think most of this stems from his complete lack of control and stimulus. I think the has gotten really good at digging too deep into his mind and producing rotten scenarios. Rehab will give him goals to work to attain which will allow Scott to use his mind to determine how he would like to reach that goal. I feel an overwhelming sense of accomplishment will follow which will lead to a much more happy and confident Scott.

We got him all cleaned up in preparation of his new digs on the 7th floor. Before I left for the evening we shaved him, bathed him, and tucked him into a new bed. I also took advantage of the opportunity to man-scape him;) I even did a biore strip on his nose! He is SUCH a good sport! I really want him to feel good about tomorrow and I know likes to take care of himself. I am hoping he will get a good nights rest and greet tomorrow with the courage to do what is necessary!

So big prayers, happy thoughts and fingers crossed that tomorrow is the real deal!!!!! Let Chapter 3 begin…
