Hey everyone! Scott made it back to Cleveland yesterday just fine. They had a perfect day to fly. He was flown with a female doctor named Kristy and a female nurse named Christie so although I couldn’t fly with him he was hearing my name the entire flight! Mom and Dad Fedor and I made it back in town pretty late but I called the hospital upon our arrival to check on Scott. He was doing well and told the nurse to tell me he loves me. They set up a suction for Scott to use on his own which is nice because he oftentimes would have to wait quite a while to get someone to suction for him.

It wasn’t easy being back at the apartment for the first time without Scott or our cat Kingsly being here. I did ok though because it was so late when we arrived and I think pure exhaustion has set in. Metro doesn’t have the same rules as Bronson Hospital, unfortunately. Visiting hours are only 1030-230 and 430-830 and supposedly I am not allowed to sleep at the hospital with Scott. I’m going to try to do some negotiating today though!

Scott was in great spirits yesterday with the knowledge that “we are starting chapter 2!” He knows we have a long road but he is optimistic and wants to be educated on every aspect of his injury. He had me look up a guy named Dennis Byrd. He was a football player for the Jets that sustained a similar injury. This tells me that Scott is trying to hear about others in a similar situation that overcame the obstacle. Not too surprising for those who know Scott!

I’m not sure how the setup will be at the hospital but I’ll post when I get home tonight! Keep up the prayers! They’re working!!!
