This Wednesday our nation will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

If you would’ve asked me a few years ago, I would’ve told you that the ADA was significant because it granted people with disabilities great parking spaces. However, I’ve come to realize it’s done so much more.

However, there is still much work that needs to be done.

Cleveland, along with multiple cities across the country, will host a celebration to mark the significance of the bill being signed into law.

I am deeply honored to have been selected to give the keynote address.

My message will be focused on how far we’ve come, how much more we have to go, and what we can do to ensure we get there.

The all-day event will take place at Wade Oval, and will feature live music, interactive activities, performances by a “dancing wheelchair group”, food trucks and speeches by members of Congress, the Mayor of Cleveland, and yours truly. The event will roll into Wade Oval Wednesday! Concert.

I’d encourage all of you, if able, to stop by and celebrate with us!

You can learn more about the event and check out the agenda at Cleveland ADA Day.

Hope to see you there!

Stand Strong!

Scott

They couldn’t have picked a better person to give the address. You are such an inspiration to anyone with a disability. Keep up the good work and God Bless.
    Love you, Cherry

    Scott,
Congratulations! I know you will do a great job. It would be good for you to work in Jimmy V’s words – DON’T GIVE UP DON’T EVER GIVE UP. Make sure you tape it.
