MY RESOLVE IS UNWAVERING.

I have come so far. I have so much further to go. I will get there.

But I cannot do it alone. I need your help.

I rely on the generosity of others to participate in an aggressive physical therapy program – a program which has already yielded tremendous results!

The most important thing I can do for my quality of life is to participate in a consistent physical therapy regimen. Physical therapy is critical for someone living with a spinal cord injury.

Unfortunately, despite the importance of physical therapy, it is not covered by insurance. Furthermore, Congress passed legislation that imposed payment caps on outpatient rehabilitation services under Medicare. These caps require Medicare beneficiaries like myself to pay 100% of therapy costs out of pocket.

Trying to maintain a healthy quality of life is expensive.

If I cannot afford to pay for the necessary therapy that I need, then I will be forced to go without it. The harsh reality is that it costs money to stay healthy. In my case, it will cost me an extraordinary amount that I would never be able to afford on my own.

I will get back up. However, I will not be able to do it without the generous support of others.

Please consider making a donation, all of which will go towards my physical therapy expenses.
